Downtown Rochester just got a major dose of holiday cheer thanks to Miracle on Historic Third at The Tap House. This is the first time The Tap House has tackled a full holiday pop-up up and they did not hold back. Taking a cue from the wildly popular holiday bars in the Twin Cities, the team went all out and covered the entire space in lights, tinsel, ornaments, and cheeky holiday touches. No corner was left plain. Every inch is covered in sparkle and kitsch in a way that feels perfectly over the top. We loved every second we were there.

The holiday spirit shows up on the drink menu too, with cocktails named after favorite Christmas movies. Guests can order playful options like the Resting Grinch Face, Pink Bunny Pajamas, Mistletoe Mama, and the unforgettable Cousin Eddie, which is served in a Red Solo cup.

Each space has its own charm, mixing classic holiday movie moments with winter wonderland whimsy and a generous dose of glitter. Guests wander through with wide eyes, taking in all the unexpected details tucked into shelves, ceilings, and even the bar itself. It feels like stepping into the inside of a snow globe someone shook a little too hard in the best possible way. Don’t miss the singing and dancing Grinch in Whoville – just to the right of the main entrance as you walk inside the tap house.

Miracle on Historic Third is open Sunday through Thursday from 2 PM to 11 PM and Friday and Saturday from 2 PM to midnight. The Tap House is located at 10 Historic Third Street Southwest, placing it right in the center of the downtown action. Parking is simple thanks to nearby ramps, including the Third Street Ramp and several others within a quick walk.

For anyone craving a break from the dark winter evenings, Miracle on Historic Third delivers a bright, spirited, and completely charming escape. It is festive in a way that feels welcoming and full of personality, which makes it a standout holiday stop in Rochester this season.
