Sometimes all you need is a good burger to hit the spot. Rochester has quite the selection of burgers but here are 6 burgers that you need to try!
What burger would you recommend?
Newt's - Smokey Ranch Burger
If you like ranch, this burger is for you. Personally, ranch belongs on just about everything, and Newts really hit it out of the park with this one. The sauce and the kaiser bun are my favorite aspects of this burger. It also comes with bacon and the heavenly ranch sauce, obviously. “Newt’s Smokey Ranch Burger
Tap House West End - Southern Charm Burger
This is the Southern Charm burger at Tap House West End (and my pork tacos). They are one of our favorite burgers in Rochester. Plus we love the fries and overall atmosphere, especially when outside seating is available. They are dog-friendly outside, even providing treats and water bowls. The west location also has a kid’s menu, which is a bonus. Â – Cynthia Beeler
Hot Chip Burger Bar - Call Me the Dude Burger
The Bleu Duck Truck - The Bleu Duck Burger
My personal (and strong) opinion is that the Bleu Duck Burger is the best in town. Â This is a double patty burger cooked on a flat top to get that perfect juiciness. The toppings are simple: American Cheese, special sauce (again in my strong opinion, it’s pure magic), and pickles. Â And there is something about the pickles. I’m not a big fan of pickles and I LOVE these pickles. Â The brioche bun adds just a tiny touch of sweetness. Â It’s literal perfection. Â You can find this burger at the Bleu Duck Truck or off the bar menu at Bleu Duck Kitchen (available only with bar seating). – Becky Montpetit
Boulder Tap House - Jalapeño Burger with Cheese Curds
“This burger is the perfect size has such good flavor with the right amount of spice in the jalapeño sauce. Since the jalapeño spice only comes from their sauce spice level is about a 6/10. Not too spicy but just right. Add cheese curds for something extra!”  – Eli, local burger connoisseur
