Amanda moved to Rochester from Alabama in 2011 for her husband’s job. The transition to the Midwest from the South was not an easy one, but Amanda has since made Rochester a second home for their family.
Amanda graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in business administration. Amanda has a background in accounting and marketing and also worked with people with disabilities before becoming a stay-at-mom.
Amanda became a first-time mom to Georgia in January 2016. Amanda loves Southern culture and food. In her spare time you will find Amanda doing cardio, playing with her two rescue Labradors, traveling the world with her husband (especially during winter), making sweet tea for friends and wearing matching outfits with her daughter.
