5/07 Day: Keeping Rochester Corny
May 7th is almost here, and that means 507 Day is upon us. For the uninitiated, “corny” around here is not an insult. It describes everything that is whimsical, silly, wholesome, warm, wonderfully unpretentious, and deeply lovable about life in Rochester. We fully lean into it.
The City of Rochester proudly bears the 507 area code as a badge of Midwestern distinction, and May 7th (5/07) is a perfectly corny opportunity to honor those three glorious digits that connect us all.
Don your finest yellow and green, support a locally owned favorite, and celebrate this city the way it deserves to be celebrated. Lucky for us, Rochester has no shortage of ways to do exactly that.
