The Elm Creek Swim Pond in Maple Grove, MN is a unique can’t-miss Minnesota park.  It’s an amazing spot to check out on a hot summer day and guarantee you’ll love the experience. Unlike other lakes and ponds, Elm Creek Swim Pond offers filtered, chlorinated water. Along with the swimming pond, there is a sandy beach, changing shelter, concessions, and bathroom facilities.

Open Memorial Day Weekend to August 16 | 9 AM–8 PM, daily

Lifeguard Hours

  • May 23–25 (Memorial Day weekend): Noon–8 PM
  • June 6 & 7: Noon–8 PM
  • June 13–August 9: Noon–8 PM

Fees & Passes 

A daily or seasonal wristband is required. Skip the lines and buy your season pass by purchasing online or calling (763) 559-6700. The season wristband is valid at both the Elm Creek and Lake Minnetonka swim ponds. A pass is required for ages 1 year and older. Please click here for all beach rules.

Playground 

Elm Creek Park Reserve Playground

You can easily spend all day here — but there are also great parks nearby if you want to stop by the playground to get out any extra energy before or after swimming! Elm Creek Park Reserve has one of the largest play areas in the state. Swings, slides, ropes, and lots of other fun features make it fun for kids of all ages.
