Pop’s Art Theater and Griot Arts present Black Power and Pulp: The Radical Legacy of Blaxploitation for their annual film series centering on Black voices in film for Black History Month.
For this year’s series, every Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm in February we’ll be taking a look at Blaxploitation films from throughout the genre’s heyday. Learn more about the impact on black cinema, and if it was exploitation or empowerment.
