Fix-It Clinic | Christ United Methodist Church

Olmsted County will host a Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, February 7, from 2:30 – 5:30 PM. The event will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 400 5th Avenue SW, Rochester, MN 55902.

This free community event, in partnership with Reuse Minnesota, offers a unique opportunity for individuals to get their textiles and household items mended and repaired by skilled volunteers.

  • No pre-registration required: First-come, first-served
  • Item limit: Limit of 2 items per household
  • Item acceptance deadline: Items accepted 30 minutes before the event ends

The Fix-It Clinic will focus on small, carry-in sized items for hands-on repairs. Attendees are encouraged to bring textiles, small household items, and other repairable goods to restore. Volunteers with expertise in mending, sewing, and general repairs will be available to assist.

This event is made possible through funding from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Statewide Waste Reduction and Reuse grant, reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainability and reducing waste in our community.
