If you live in Rochester, MN you probably know that we consistently rank among the most livable cities in the US. With a strong economy, plentiful schooling options, a high level of civic engagement, and an expansive and extensive parks and trails system, parenting and raising a family certainly has its perks in this town.
The next 20 or so years will be an incredibly important time in our city’s history: with technological advancements, projected population growth, and the onset and culmination of Destination Medical Center, we are anxious to lay a solid foundation for our children’s future.
Rochester MN Moms Blog is honored to host a forum with city council candidates called Parenting in the Med City: A Conversation with City Council Candidates next Thursday evening, August 25th, 7 pm in the auditorium at the Rochester Public Library. This is an incredibly important election year. This event will be an opportunity to dialogue with our city council candidates and have some of your questions answered, as they pertain to parenting in the Med City.
