Bloom :: An Event for New and Expectant Moms is coming up at the end of NEXT WEEK. Why should you join us at Bloom? We have been so busy behind the scenes making sure this event is perfect to celebrate motherhood and give you an day of learning, relaxing, and refreshment. Our darling swag bags filled with goodies, giveaways galore, information from 30 + local sponsors and incredible resources are all great reasons, but there is so much more…
5. Did someone say FOOD? There will be delicious food at BLOOM for all attendees to enjoy. Our friends at Tonic Local Kitchen + Juice Bar, Costco, People’s Food Co-0p, You Betcha Cupcake, Great Harvest Bread Co., Cafe Steam and Old Abe Coffee Co.. will be providing you with all the treats you little hearts desire. Honestly…YUM!
4. You’re among friends! It’s not often moms can venture out with little ones without fear of being judged, children’s behavior …or worse, diaper blowouts! This morning is designed for the new mom in mind. Feel free to bring (or wear!) children up to the age of 1 year old. We’ll have a lounge brought to you by MedCity Doulas for you to comfortably feed or change your baby in a comfy, clean environment. It’s a Judgement Free Zone!
3. This pre-Mother’s Day event gives back! We’re helping support Families First of Rochester by bringing participating in a diaper drive for their crisis nursery. You will have the chance to donate diapers/wipes/ointment in exchange for extra entries for giveaways…

Who :: all Rochester Area moms (you do not have to be expecting to attend!)
What :: Bloom is a national event for new and expecting moms hosted by City Moms Blog Network and our sister sites, which will be taking place in 50+ cities across the country during the month of May.
Why :: Whether you’re expecting for the first or third time, are fostering, adopting, have a newborn at home or are working your way through the toddler years and thinking of expanding your family in the future, this event is for you. Come enjoy a morning of delicious food, educational resources, giveaways and swag, fun experiences and connecting moms and families with relevant local resources!
When :: Saturday, May 6th, 8:30 – 11:30 AM OR 1:00 -4:00 PM (identical sessions)

*Please Note: This event is geared towards new and expecting moms. Children OVER one year will not be permitted and due to space constraints children UNDER one year old must be worn in a carrier or held as there is no room for strollers at this event. A huge thank you to our feeding lounge sponsors, MedCity Doulas, for providing attending moms with a comfortable space to feed your little ones during the event!
