Music Downtown: Joe Carey | Peace Plaza
St. Paul-based singer-songwriter Joe Carey has been active in Minnesota’s music scene for over 25 years. He has performed with Loft, The Careys, Love Songs For Angry Men, The Chinwaggers, and The Shabby Road Orchestra. Joe currently performs under his own name and has released five full length studio albums to date, along with many singles. Some of his biggest influences include Neil Young, The Band, Cat Stevens, Van Morrison, and Nick Drake.
Music Downtown brings live music to the Peace Plaza and other downtown locations, encouraging passers by to enjoy the music of local artists over weekday lunch and happy hours, and Friday evening concerts on Historic Third Street.
This program is presented by Rochester Downtown Alliance with support from Mayo Clinic, Altra Federal Credit Union, Olmsted Medical Center. The series is coordinated by John Sievers and Threshold Arts.

*when Thursdays Downtown is not in session
HISTORIC THIRD STREET:
5 – 7 pm Fridays
