Music Downtown: Fools Getaway Peace Plaza
Fool’s Getaway is a Rochester-based trio made up of longtime musicians who simply love making music together. With a setlist that spans decades and genres—roots rock, country, R&B, pop, and more—they aim to connect with every listener, finding songs that speak to the moment and bring people together. They are known for their big sound, and tight harmonies, and creative arrangements as they shift styles mid-set, always chasing the joy that comes from playing something unexpected — and just right.
Music Downtown brings live music to the Peace Plaza and other downtown locations, encouraging passers by to enjoy the music of local artists over weekday lunch and happy hours, and Friday evening concerts on Historic Third Street.
This program is presented by Rochester Downtown Alliance with support from Mayo Clinic, Altra Federal Credit Union, Olmsted Medical Center. The series is coordinated by John Sievers and Threshold Arts.

PEACE PLAZA:
11 am – 1 pm | Tuesday through Friday*
4 – 6 pm | Sunday through Thursday*
*when Thursdays Downtown is not in session
HISTORIC THIRD STREET:
5 – 7 pm Fridays
