LIVE MUSIC – Mike Munson and Simon Cropp | Thesis Beer Project

A one-of-a-kind Wednesday night. A one-time-only, one-of-a-kind kegis tapped weekly, and Mike Munsonand Simon Cropp perform at 6 pm.
Mike Munson is most comfortable with a guitar in his hands. With a reverence for the history of American music his songs demonstrate his own evolution as a performer andhis deep attachment to place. Hissound explores the connections between blues, American primitive instrumentals and early rock and roll.
Simon Cropp is a flatpick guitarist and country and bluegrass songwriter from Decorah, Iowa. His performance style is equal parts dive bar bravado and fireside introspection. His writing channels classic country themes of love, heartbreak, and landscape – winking at cliche without bending to it – to deliver a sound that is as comfortable on a front porch as it is on afestival stage.
