Buckthorn Removal | Northern Heights Park

Come join us for a fun morning of buckthorn removal at Northern Heights Park. Seriously, it’s way more fun than you’d think when getting together with others who appreciate nature & know how good this gem of a city park will feel when freed of some of this invasive species! No experience is necessary – just bring your energy, enthusiasm, work gloves & sturdy shoes. The buckthorn will be cut, treated & left on site per instructions from the City of Rochester. Removal equipment will be provided by the city.
