Rochester MN outdoor swimming pools are about to open up for the summer!

Season Passes

Rochester Parks & Recreation will be offering an Outdoor Pools Season Pass in 2026. The season pass will be valid at both Soldiers Field Aquatic Center and Silver Lake Pool for the entire 2026 season.  The pass can be purchased at the Parks & Recreation office at City Hall (201 4th Street SE) during business hours (8 AM – 4:30 PM).

  • Season Pass Price: $150 per person

Additional family members living at the same address can purchase season passes at a discounted price. That discounted price scale is:

  • Second Family Member: $125 per person
  • Third Family Member: $100 per person
  • Fourth Family Member: $75 per person
  • Fifth Family Member and beyond: $50 per person

 


Soldiers Field Aquatics Center

The Soldiers Field Aquatics Center opens June 5, 2026! This incredible facility has been a community favorite since it opened in 2024, and it’s easy to see why. Here’s what’s waiting for you:

  • Lazy river with zero-depth entry
  • Three-story waterslide tower with two body slides and one tube slide
  • 50-meter lap and activity pool with a climbing wall, drop slide, basketball hoop, and zip line
  • Splash pad with spray features, fountains, and a multi-level play structure

Opening: June 5, 2026

Location: 244 Soldiers Field Drive SW, Rochester

Hours: Daily, Noon – 8 PM

Pool Closing Date: Late August 2026

 

Daily Admission: 

  • Adult (18+): $11
  • Child (3-17): $9
  • Age 2 & Under: $2
  • Evenings (6 p.m. – Close): $8 adult / $6 child
  • Splash Pad Only (Ages 2-6): $5 per child
  • Splash Pad Supervising/Non-Swimming Adult: $2
  • Lap Swim Only: $5
  • Toddler Time (Splash Pad – 10 -11:30 AM): $5 per child
    • Supervising adult is $2; Children 2 & Under: $2
  • Lazy River Walk Time (10 – 11:30 AM; 8 – 9 PM): $5 per person

 10 Visit Punch Pass: $75

 


Silver Lake Pool

Silver Lake Pool is brand new for summer 2026! This outdoor pool just got a complete makeover, and it’s packed with features your family will love:

  • 25-yard lap and activity pool with a zero-entry ramp
  • Climbing wall, aqua zip line, and basketball hoop
  • All-new pool house

Opening: June 8, 2026

Location: 840 7th St NE, Rochester

Hours: M-W-F, Saturday and Sunday – Noon to 8 PM, Tuesday and Thursday, Noon – 5 PM

Pool Closing Date: Early August 2026

 


Lincolnshire Splash Pad

Lincolnshire Splash Pad

Opening: May 23, 2026

Admission: FREE

Location: 5276 Members Pkwy NW, Rochester

Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Splash Pad Closing Date: Labor Day

No lifeguards on duty

This amenity is FREE to use for the public in Rochester and features 10 water features, shaded areas, a public restroom, and grassy areas.

 

McQuillan Splash Pad

Opening: Summer 2026

Admission: FREE

Location: 1655 Marion Rd SE, Rochester

Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Splash Pad Closing Date: Labor Day

No lifeguards on duty

 

Silver Lake Splash Pad

Opening: June 8, 2026

Admission: FREE

Location: 840 7th St NE, Rochester

Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Splash Pad Closing Date: Labor Day
