Hey, y’all! I’m Molly. I’m originally from Whitefish Bay, WI, but I’ve lived in Rochester, MN, for ten years!Â
I am married to Adam, and we have one son Fritz, and a dog Henry. I love reading, True Crime podcasts, fashion, my job (I work in Premier Accounts on a corporate digital team), white wine, and recently making mocktails! I am very close with my family and love traveling back to Milwaukee to see them.Â
I cry a lot – happy or sad, there are usually tears! I’m not too fond of peanut butter, and my goal is to get back to riding my Peloton. My husband is so good about riding it daily!Â
I pride myself on being an open book, an honest friend, and handling hard conversations well.Â
The last year has challenged me in ways I didn’t know existed! A pandemic, IVF, loss of loved ones, and I’m so thankful to be on {what feels like} the other side.Â
Best concert you’ve ever been to?
I am a huge John Mayer fan. When I was in high school, my dad waited in a queue online to buy my friends and me tickets to his concert at Carthage College in Wisconsin. It was in their auditorium, which was small and very much like an old school gymnasium. My friends and I were close to the stage, and it just felt so intimate!Â
The next day, my mom took my friend and me shopping at the Mall of America. We were outside of Barnes and Noble, and John Mayer walks right by me. I’m cringing because I tapped him on the shoulder and asked, “Are you John Mayer?” and we exchanged pleasantries and were off. We saw him again in American Eagle an hour later, buying a swimsuit off the clearance rack. I had to shoot my shot. So I told him I was at his concert the night before and tried getting tickets to his one at the University of Minnesota, but the show was sold out. He said he had tickets for me, wrote my name on the back of his receipt, and said to show up at will-call before the show.
The man did not lie. He put my friend, Steph, and I, in his family seats. Row Seven, center. It is one of my favorite memories!Â
I’ve seen John Mayer in concert at least ten times and was even invited backstage to do a meet and greet!Â
Other concerts I’ve been to Jessica Simpson, The Beach Boys, The Counting Crows, Cold Play, Ed Sheeran, Thomas Rhett, Katy Perry, Kenny Chesney, O.A.R., Gavin Degraw, The Fray, Miranda Lambert, Panic! at the Disco, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, Alicia Keys, Guster, Carrie Underwood
What makes you angry?
What angers me – big picture:Â
The lack of care working mothers and post-partum mothers receive. A paid, 12-week maternity leave with multiple follow-up visits for maternal mental health should be the bare minimum in this county.Â
What angers me daily:Â
When someone asks a question that they can quickly figure it out via Google.
Empty cans on the kitchen counter.
Slow walkers.Â
What is something you would never do again?
I was talking to one of my best friends about this two days ago! I would NEVER go horseback riding in the Rocky Mountains again. I don’t love horses, and agreeing to do this on a trip to Vail, Colorado, was so out of my comfort zone. I was terrified the entire time.Â
Do you have a nickname?
A few! My family and friends call me “Mol.” I’ve never been a “Mols. My high school friends call me “Moz” or “Mozzle.”Â
What is the most random trivia you know?Â
I love Pop Culture and Celebrity Gossip, and I’m a massive fan of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise! But – I know way too much, and I’m not embarrassed by it! Â
What do you never feel bad splurging on?
I tend to go for quality over quantity and apply this to most purchases in my life. My top three splurges:
Shoes
Purses
Skincare/MakeupÂ
