Sensory Friendly Performance (KM Drama Presents MAMMA MIA!) | MN WiFi Performing Arts Center

On behalf of the Kasson-Mantorville Drama Department, we are delighted to invite you to a
sensory-friendly performance of our Fall School Musical, Mamma Mia! The performance will take place
on Tuesday, November 10th, at 6:00 p.m. in the MN WiFi Performing Arts Center at Kasson-Mantorville
High School. This joyful, energetic musical features a phenomenal cast of K-M students in grades 7
through 12. We are proud of our district’s strong music and theater programs, and we are especially
excited to share the magic of live theater in a welcoming environment designed so more members of our
community can enjoy the experience.
This sensory-friendly performance welcomes individuals with disabilities and their immediate family
members or support people. To help create a comfortable experience, we will offer limited seating, so we
encourage you to reserve your complimentary tickets soon.
Set on a sunny Greek island, Mamma Mia! follows Sophie, a young woman preparing for her wedding
who dreams of having her father walk her down the aisle. After discovering three possible fathers from
her mother’s past, Sophie secretly invites all three men to the celebration. Their unexpected arrival brings
old memories, new questions, laughter, friendship, and heartfelt discoveries, all told through the
unforgettable music of ABBA. Mamma Mia! is a joyful story about family, love, and finding the courage to
choose your own path.
The performance runs approximately 2.5 hours and includes a 20-minute intermission. Cupcakes and
water will be available for purchase at intermission. During this special performance, the house lights in
the performing arts center will remain at 50%. We will reduce the performance volume and limit many of
the special effects and sound effects. We will also provide a designated space for anyone who needs a
break.
