Coldest Day of the Year Walk | Cascade Lake Park

Bundle up and join Family Promise Rochester for the Coldest Day of the Year Walk, a family-friendly winter event supporting local families experiencing homelessness. Walk on your own, with your family, or as part of a team—every step helps ensure that every child in our community has a warm, safe place to sleep, even in the coldest month of the year.

This accessible 2-mile walk features:
• A branded winter beanie for every registrant
• A catered hot cocoa bar
• Warming-house activities for all ages
• Music, community, and winter fun at Cascade Lake Park

All proceeds support Family Promise Rochester’s shelter, eviction prevention, and stabilization programs for families with children.
