Tucked against the river bluffs overlooking Lake Pepin in the picturesque village of Stockholm, Wisconsin, Lavender Bluff Farm is an idyllic, serene sanctuary for those seeking a beautiful experience in a breathtaking landscape. Owned and lovingly managed by Rand and Kim Kermeier, this charming farm offers a delightful experience that seamlessly blends agriculture, hospitality, and the natural beauty of the West Coast of Wisconsin along the Great River Road.
A Farm with History
Owners Kim and Rand Kermeier, first came across the property on a beautiful fall day in 2019 while exploring the area. They spent several years updating and restoring the property and its buildings, and planting lavender. Lavender Bluff Farm opened for its first season in 2023.
The farmstead was originally built by Jacob Peterson in 1863 and is a replicate of the family homestead in Sweden. The home, barn, and buildings were built using oak from the land and stone from the bluffs on the property. In 1980, the farm was purchased and turned into the Great River Bed and Breakfast. Now, the farm is enjoyed by the many visitors coming to enjoy the natural beauty of the lavender fields as well as the farm’s shop which sells its wide line of Lavender and CBD products.
A Variety of Offerings
Lavender Bluff Farm isn’t just about lavender. The Kermeiers have diversified their offerings to include a range of products and activities. The farm’s shop features an array of lavender-based products, from essential oils and lotions to culinary delights like lavender-infused honey and tea. Each product is crafted with care, using the farm’s own lavender to ensure the highest quality. You’ll also find local art, home goods, Lavender Bluff Farm merchandise, and more. Lavender Bluff Farm is also a USDA-licensed hemp grower meaning it can offer CBD-infused products in its farm shop. Its muscle cream and CBD tinctures (infused with lavender) are popular with customers.
