If we learned anything from our First Birthday Bash on October 27th, it’s that Rochester MN Moms and businesses love to have a good time! We were thrilled to bring together over 80 women and 20 sponsors for to help us celebrate our awesome first year as Rochester MN Moms Blog!
The Venue and Feast
Thank you to the incredible staff and owners at Bleu Duck Kitchen for graciously hosting our birthday party in their incredible event space. The ambience of their restaurant was chic, charming, and the perfect back-drop for our incredible celebration! We encourage you to think of Bleu Duck Kitchen if you are planning a special celebration: milestone birthdays, wedding receptions, Girl’s Night Out, rehearsal dinners, receptions, and holiday gatherings would all be a perfect fit for this unique space.

The Cake
No birthday celebration is complete without the cake! Thank you to Hy-Vee West Circle Drive and their head cake decorator Bryant Meyer for providing perhaps the most beautiful cake we have ever seen! Perfectly on point, our cake was three tiers of gold, blush and cream tones…complete with super trendy “naked cake” layers and gorgeous handmade sugar flowers. This confection was the perfect cherry on top of our fun evening out!

The Shops
Our Birthday Party was made so special by some of our very favorite Rochester, MN shops and boutiques providing great shopping at the event! The variety of things to choose from meant everyone had a great time perusing all that the shops had to offer. Each shop even provided a special Birthday Bash shopping discount for all party attendees! A very special thank you to Dwell Local, POSH Boutique, eth’tique Fashion Truck, and Flowers By Jerry – Lux Boutique.

The Giveaways
Our guests were spoiled with the most wonderful giveaways. Every attendee had the opportunity to win FABULOUS prizes. Each guest received three giveaway tickets at check-in and were able to choose what giveaways they wanted to enter! A big thank you to our Giveaway Sponsors!

The Swag

The Finishing Touches
The party was made special by some very lovely finishing details. We are so appreciative to Flowers by Jerry who provided the incredible florals for the event. Please consider Flowers by Jerry for all your floral decor needs or even just a special arrangement to brighten up your home! Each attendee left our party with a special (and delicious!!) cookie from Desserts by Danna. The design was so cute and was customized just for us. Consider her for those special occasions when a special treat is in order! A very special thank you to Lora Skelton from Not Your Mama’s Photography for taking the incredible photos of our party!
