Spark Imagination, Read! | Summer Reading Program

SPARK Imagination: READ! is now underway at SPARK Children’s Museum! From June 3–August 31, kids are invited to join the Summer Bookworm Challenge—an exciting way to stay connected to learning all summer long through creative and playful reading activities.

Each child who joins will receive a free book and a colorful Bookworm Reading Log filled with fun prompts like “read under the stars” and “read to a stuffed animal.” For every completed log, readers earn a small prize and a spot on the Reader Leaderboard at SPARK!

Thanks to generous support from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation and Dollar General Literacy Foundation, free books will be available throughout the summer, and SPARK’s “Give a Book, Take a Book” library is always open for young readers.

Sign up during your next visit to SPARK or at a sign-up event in early June. Participation is included with daily admission or membership.
