The Homecoming: Family Promise Rochester | The Promise House

What if you could spend an evening inside a working family shelter — and see firsthand what it looks like when a community shows up for its neighbors?
That’s The Homecoming.
On September 12th, Family Promise Rochester is opening the doors of Promise House — Rochester’s only dedicated family shelter for families with children — for one extraordinary evening. Guests will move through six beautifully designed stations in a progressive dinner format inside the shelter itself, each representing a different part of the journey families take from housing crisis to stability. There will be exceptional food, signature cocktails and mocktails by Bitter & Pour, and a program moment that will stay with you long after the night ends.
Family Promise Rochester serves families experiencing homelessness right here in Olmsted County — through emergency shelter, eviction prevention, and stabilization services. Promise House is home to up to 13 families at a time, and the need continues to grow. This evening is Rochester’s invitation inside.
One hundred guests. One night. One building that holds more hope than most people know.
