Art and Us – Littles (4-7 yrs) | St. Mary’s University Rochester Campus
Art is ALL around us! This class helps your little artist cultivate their artistic skills while learning about the different types of art available to us. We will work with a multitude of mediums to create unique, one-of-a-kind projects.
Each month is broken down into different topics, all of which are related to the overall theme; Art and Us.

September – Art and Me (student)
Introduction to the world of art. // Me as an artist // What art mediums do I like? // What types of art and mediums would I like to learn more about? // Who are my influences and how does it affect my artistic choices?
October – Light v Dark
The weather is changing! What does that mean? // Art in different environments and cultures. // Photography!
November – Art and Connection
How do we connect through art? // Working on a project TOGETHER // Our sum is great than our parts.
December – Holidays and Traditions
What does my family celebrate? // What do my classmates celebrate? // How does art relate to these celebrations?
