This year, I’ll celebrate my 56th birthday the way I choose—by sharing a meal, showing love, and spending time with our unsheltered neighbors.
I know firsthand what it feels like to be unhoused.
That’s why this meal is more than just Thanksgiving dinner to me.
It’s about reminding people they matter and have a place at the table.
