63rd Annual Greek Fest | Holy Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church

August 29 @ 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
greek festival

Greek Fest is back, and we could not be more ready for it. Rochester’s original Greek Festival returns August 28th through 30th.  Running since 1963, its one of our favorite weekends of the summer.

Here is the plan: load up on baklava, eat our weight in gyros and kebabs, and soak in some of the warmest Greek hospitality you will find anywhere in southeastern Minnesota. The menu goes deep. Souvlaki, pastitsio, spanakopita, dolmades, big Greek salads, and loukoumades hot and drizzled with honey. Every plate comes from family recipes passed down for generations, and the pastry table alone is worth the trip. We walk out with a box of baklava and other desserts to bring home every single year.

Cannot commit to a full afternoon on the grounds? The drive-thru has you covered. Pull up at 7th Ave and Center St and grab your favorites without leaving the car. Vegetarian options like spanakopita and Greek salads are in the mix too.

Beyond the food, there is live Greek music, folk dancing, cultural exhibits, shopping, and a bounce house to keep the kids busy ($2).

Admission is free. Parking is free over at Mayo Clinic Lot 29. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 AM to 8 MN and Sunday, 11 AM to 4 PM, at 703 West Center Street. We will see you there, plate in hand.
