Karla is a mother of two kiddos and a hardworking mom! Karla joined the Casa de Corazón team a year ago when the Rochester, MN location first opened and serves as the food preparation coordinator and cook.

Since day one, Karla has shown her love for cooking especially for kids. She comes to work every day with a bright smile — her energy and positive vibe are so contagious! Every time Karla goes to a class to bring their meals, everyone greets her with so much love and she always finds the time to receive and give hugs back to the kiddos.

Karla has a high level of professionalism, dedication, and commitment to each of our kiddos and families.  She not only prepares daily meals for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers but also spends time in classrooms in the afternoons. Karla is very creative; you will see her playing with the kids and helping teachers with what they need…and always smiling! Casa de Corazón is so grateful to have her on the team!
