Recruiting the Master Gardener Intern Volunteer Class of 2027 with Olmsted County Master Gardeners | RCTC Heintz Center

Thinking about becoming a Master Gardener? Applications are open until October 1, 2026. The course is 100% online Jan-April, then 50 volunteer hours are completed by 12/31/2027. The cost is $340 due by 12/1/2026. Financial aid is available for those in need.

Still not sure or have questions? Join Olmsted County Master Gardeners in person for a welcome and information session at RCTC Heintz Center Building Room H1106 on September 29th at 5:30 pm.

Audience: Adults interested in becoming a Master Gardener.

Cost for informational meeting: Free

Registration: Registration is not required.

January 2027: Self-paced, online Horticulture Core Course begins
December 31, 2027: Final day to complete the core course
