Join us in the lower-level clay studio for this fun handbuilding class. We will weave baskets from clay strips, forming them over plaster molds to shape them. You can choose to add texture to the strips or to keep them smooth. We’ll meet again in a few weeks to add colorful glazes, and the bowls will be ready for pickup after the second firing.
The glaze date will be scheduled after the first class.
They make great gifts or will be a perfect addition to your summer kitchen. Finished bowls will be approximately 8–10″ across.
This class is appropriate for adults and tweens (ages 9 and up).
