The Community Exchange: A Day of Mutual Aid & Solidarity
Join us on August 22nd for an event rooted in the spirit of mutual aid—the simple idea that when we take care of one another, our entire community thrives. This isn’t charity; it’s a collective effort to share our resources, skills, and abundance so that everyone has what they need.
How We’re Showing Up for Each Other:
The Buy Nothing Market: Participate in a circular economy of care. We are collecting and redistributing clothing and home goods. Bring what you no longer use and take what serves you—no money exchanged, just neighbors helping neighbors.
Nourishment for All: We’re distributing free meal kits featuring fresh produce from our local farmers market. Each bag includes a recipe to cook a nutritious meal for four, ensuring that good, local food is accessible to everyone.
Creative Expression: Art is a vital part of community well-being. Join our communal art activity with local artist Jen Eckhardt or take home a free art kit to keep the creative spark alive.
DJ Dan will be spinning vinyl 11-1 and Peacock Coyote 1:30-3

Mutual aid is about solidarity, not charity. By sharing our food, our goods, and our art, we build a stronger, more resilient community together.
