Getting Around Town: Community Conversation on Transportation | John Marshall High School Cafeteria

Residents are invited to join Mayor Kim Norton for Getting Around Town, a town hall focused on transportation in Rochester. The event will take place Thursday, Aug. 20, at John Marshall High School. Mayor Norton will be joined by Transit and Parking Director Rachel Fautsch, Mode Shift Coordinator Matt Lynch and Assistant City Engineer and Municipal Services Manager Amy Kreofsky. The discussion will focus on how people move throughout the city and how Rochester’s transportation system works together.

Topics will include Rochester Public Transit, parking, the upcoming LINK Bus Rapid Transit system and opportunities to walk, bike and roll throughout the community. Participants will discuss how streets, sidewalks, transit connections and parking can support safe, efficient, accessible and reliable travel. The conversation will also consider how a connected transportation network can expand access and support a more equitable, sustainable and resilient community.
