Create a collage/painting! Enjoy the comradery of other artists.
Collage, the French word for “to glue” describes gluing a wide variety of materials, paper, fabric, and photos to a surface. Picasso and other artists used collages which can be used alone or combined with painting. In this 2-hour class, you can create your own project or do the project the instructor has provided. We will go over collage techniques and talk briefly about the history of this wonderfully versatile media. You are encouraged to bring your own materials such as photos or other memorabilia. Beginning and seasoned artists are encouraged to participate.
