Art We Use Exhibition | Rochester Art Center

Rochester Art Center is proud to present Art We Use, a group exhibition by the Zumbro River Fiber Arts Guild, on view in the Entry Gallery from March 12, 2025 to March 31, 2026. This dynamic display showcases the rich and diverse world of fiber arts, featuring framed and scroll-mounted works that highlight the beauty and functionality of fiber in everyday life. Everyday we use, touch, wear and admire fiber – paper, cloth, wool, felt, patterns, yarn, thread, rugs, clothing.  But being useful is not their only purpose.  Fiber is also used to decorate, inspire, tell stories, commemorate events and to connect with emotions.  Like a river, fiber flows through our lives in a multitude of ways, meeting our needs and touching our souls. Art We Use invites visitors to discover the artistry behind the fibers that shape our world.
